What three themes did your group select when brainstorming about the Oak and the Rose? Pick one and describe what choices you made in your choreography to reflect the meaning of the word.

My group's words for Oak and rose were friendship, improvement, and jealousy. One of these words [jealousy] started out with one person standing and the rest sitting and they were jealous. At the end of the dance, they would switch and then he would be jealous.-FloRida99
The three words that my group came up with were "Friendship", "Change", and "Sorrow." For "Change", my group and I would sometimes change levels, speed, shape, direction etc. For example: About three people would start out on the ground kneeling, and the other two would be on the ground, then it would change and we would do something different. -lemonlime
One word we used for the oak tree and the rose bush was friend ship like two people were around each other and the other two people were on the floor-puppy face
One of the words my group did was growing. I liked that word because we started at a low level and made shapes with our arms. Also while doing that we grew to a higher level. -Snowball

I remember one of my words being different, and my group started out all different shapes and sizes. Then later we did this thing where we all spun around and fell to the ground and I'm not really sure but I think it was changes. -sportsman98
Mine were friendship, sadness, and growing. We first lined up together in a curved line. The person at the front of the line would start growing, and when he was halfway done with growing, the person next to him started to grow, and so on. But, when everyone was done growing, they would freeze, showing they had reached the maximum they could grow.-Kittycat

My groups 3 words were friendship, jealousy, and improvement. One of the words showed a little seed and fully grown trees. The little seed was jealous that the trees were so big and the trees laughed at the little seed but as the seed grew the trees grew the trees shrank because they were getting chopped down by woodsman and soon the little seed that grew from a seed to a tree ended up laughing at the chopped down trees -thunderbird-

Improvement means to make better. in our dance there were short trees that grew big.
